About the Downtown Development Fund Council

The role of the Downtown Development Fund Council is administration of the “Downtown Development Fund”. The Fund is a dedicated special purpose fund to be used for improving the Village’s downtown and waterfront areas with the goal of increased economic development and sustainability and the encouragement of public access and use of the Village’s waterfront.

The Downtown Development Fund Council consists of five members, four of which are appointed by the Village Board of Trustees, one of which is assigned by the developer of the Harbor Square project located along Ossining’s Hudson River waterfront.

Current members include Joe Dziegelewski, Andrew Kaplan, Kathryn Corena, Jon Zeltsman and Matt Kerestesy. Village liaison to the council is Deputy Mayor, Trustee Rika Levin.
